Louisa Krause was born in New York City. Her most well-known role is Anna Garner on the TV show The Girl Experience. Brenda Woodberg played her first role on film in Babysitters, where she appeared in the role of Brenda Woodberg. Krause began studying drama when she was a student at college, and then appeared on Broadway as well as off Broadway performances. Professionally, her father and mother are both Americans. Her younger brother Nathaniel is a director. She found her interest in the arts early in her age when she began studying dance at the Washington School of Ballet in Washington D.C. Once she began high school, dancing was a distant memory until she started performing in Henry Krieger's Bill Russell's variety of plays and musicals such as Side Show as Violet Hilton. In high school, she began attending an acting school called the Carnegie Mellon Drama School. Krause started her acting career soon following. It was the stage production Aida was the show in which she acted for her Equity Card. Louisa Krause got her start in the theater. She made her debut in 2006 at the Huntington Theatre Company. She played Iphigenia for the Signature Theatre Company's Iphigenia 2 in 2007.
